The Only Part Of TIAAY That’s Not All About You

Andre

Good day my name is Andre, Andre Dominguez if you must know. I’m the one on the left with the blue jean shirt, and the founder of TIAAY, at your service. By the way, crickey! It really is the Irwins here with us!

Now, I don’t want to bore you with a whole biography of me, or pour out a bucket full of history like others might in a desperate attempt to gain credibility. OK, perhaps that was a bit harsh!

So here’s a video with a little bit about me from my Patreon that you can watch instead.

If you decide to check out my Patreon as well, I basically share Fun Fact videos and other content about things like Health, Fitness, Business, Travel, your Anatomy, even Technology and Space, as well as how they benefit you.

Otherwise I get it, some of you may need to know a little bit more about me so here you go.

Once upon a time… upon a time later…

Long story short, I’m from Miami, Florida. And although I am a U.S. citizen, my heritage is Nicaraguan. Nicaragua is a beautiful, tropical, Latin country in Central America which you may not be too familiar with because as I like to joke, there’s only like five of us in the whole U.S. Oh and I’m also part German.

My journey started when I moved from Miami, Florida to North Carolina, just to try something new. Then I moved to New York City for a little while to experience the Big Apple. A short time after that, I moved close to the north pole, on a snow bank called Minnesota. Finally, after about three years of freezing, I evacuated to California to thaw out, where I met my wife.

I love traveling so I’ve traveled to many more places such as Hawaii, Nicaragua, and The Bahamas. Yet sometimes you can’t really get a real feel of a place in a week or two, so I move there. Guess I’ve been a bit of a gypsy! So yeah, I’ve lived all over.

In fact, after I got married, my wife and I moved to Mexico to do some volunteer work. However, we had to shorten our stay there because of some bad news I got just a few months after we moved. My mother, who was living in North Carolina, was diagnosed with cancer, lupus and fibromyalgia, so we had to come back to the United States.

This also meant that my father had no more financial help, since my mother wasn’t able to work anymore. And seeing my mother sick along with my aging father having to work extra hours at some dead-end job was certainly a painful push to get me started on what I needed to do. Still, all of this was but the beginning of the storms that soaked me thereafter.

There were loads of other trials that bombarded me such as foreclosure, shaming, criticism, slander, humiliation, stress and anxiety. Even physical complications as a result of all of this! And instead of getting support from the people I thought I could count on, I got hostility. Perhaps these are the things you go through in a world where people are quick to judge and slow to understand what you’re going through.

Then there’s the pandemic, which of course we’re all dealing with. To make matters worse though, I recently found out that my father has heart problems now. If I don’t make TIAAY happen, I would feel extremely helpless, not being able to help my mother with cancer and my father with heart problems. Not to mention everyone else I want to help along my journey! Yet, I don’t want to make a sob story out of this.

This was all a wake up call that made me realize I had two choices. Either I sit there and let it all consume me, or stand up to do something about it. I chose to let it consume me… at first anyway. Eventually though, I grew out of the acquired taste of rock bottom and decided to get up and fight. I know, this all sounds like another one of those ‘started from the bottom’ stories, yet it’s the sad truth and rock bottom is hard, that’s no joke.

On a more positive note, ever since I can remember I’ve always had a passion for people, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, throughout my trials, journeys, adventures and memories, I focused on learning about different people. This included friends, family, co-workers, entrepreneurs, celebrities, different cultures and even myself. My focus on people was so profound that I seemed distracted at times from other things.

I just wanted to see what drives a few people while the majority seem to remain dormant. I just wanted to know why a few people achieve great endeavors meanwhile the rest are just running around in circles. I was curious to know the contrasts between those that achieve and those that grieve. I mean, there’s a lot of motivational stuff out there, yet I needed to find out the science behind the actual potential we as individuals have, our value, and all of the possibilities that surround us.

I had to figure out the mind, the heart, and the so called strategies many gurus talk about all the time; to understand the human spirit, limit and drive; to find yourself and achieve the things you want to do, be or have; to embrace happiness, joy and excitement. To feel… alive! To love. OK I’m starting to sound like that Walter Mitty movie. Basically, I wanted to know what we’re truly made of and everything we have the potential to do.

As poetic as all of this may sound however, this meant that I had to go beyond the books and courses. All this had to be learned in real time, with real people, in real life. I mean, I did do a whole lot of research, read many books and took many courses.

Yet, this also required a lot of interaction, observation, masterminding, interviews, etc. And I’ve got to say it, I was shocked with what I discovered! It turns out that it’s not just about being intelligent. It’s not just about being experienced. It’s not just about being motivated. And it’s certainly not about simply being talented.

You’re going to have to let go of a world that the majority of people seem to be trapped in, and step into a universe you never knew you never knew: YOU! And I do recall that this is all about you, so enough about me, let’s talk about you.…..
